THE DERBY 
5th - 6th June 2009
(Ladies Day Friday 5th)

Possibly the most famous flat race in the world “The Derby” has been a firm favourite with Londoners and locals since as early as 1661.

This spectacular event now includes the added excitement of “Ladies Day” offering fantastic prizes for the best dressed lady.  Not to be missed!

The runner up in the "best dressed" competition 2008 was won by a Felicity Hat Hire customer who walked away with £1000 prize money!

ROYAL ASCOT

There is no other event in the English calendar to match the spectacle of Royal Ascot.

Notably, the most important Race meeting for nearly three hundred years, nothing matches the colour and excitement of a day at Royal Ascot.

Remember ladies, if you are in the Royal enclosure, the crown of the head must be covered, as must shoulders and midriffs.

Out of the Royal Enclosure a less formal approach to fashion is observed but everyone dresses in their finest attire.

HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA

Imagine yourself relaxing with a glass of Pimms or champagne and strolling by a beautiful river in the Oxfordshire countryside, enjoying the wonderful spectacle of the world’s top rowers gliding  past you.  Steeped in tradition, going back more than 150 years Henley Royal Regatta is a fabulous way to enjoy a perfect summers day.
Ladies in the Steward’s enclosure should observe the rule of no skirts above the knee, no trousers or culottes.  A perfect opportunity to wear a wonderful summer creation with the perfect summer hat.

      
    

GLORIOUS GOODWOOD

Situated on the South Downs offering spectacular views across the Solent, Goodwood is a wonderful place to enjoy racing and socialising.
Glorious Goodwood and high fashion go hand in hand ever since King Edward V11 discarded formal morning dress in favour of a linen suit and a panama hat.  Panama hats have remained popular with gentleman although ladies still prefer the classic
quintessential English summer style with a wonderful classic hat.
